So I’m celebrating Iyanla Vanzant today. An American inspirational speaker, lawyer, author, life coach and television personality. A woman of passion, vision and purpose. A phenomenal woman who is a huge inspiration.
Iyanla Vanzant was born on September 13, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York. Iyanla’s body of work spans over three decades and includes 15 published books, six New York Times best sellers{translated in to 23 languages and with sales exceeding eight million copies, CDs, television, radio and stage performances. In 2000, she was named one of the “100 most influential Black Americans” by Ebony magazine. Today, Iyanla is the host and executive producer of the award winning break out hit “Iyanla: Fix My Life,” the number one reality show on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.
As a founder of Inner Visions worldwide, Iyanla is actively engaged in personal development courses and on-going training programs. Iyanla embodies a no-nonsense approach in her message and teaching style. Outspoken fiery, transparent, truthful and wise.
