Since it’s the breast-feeding awareness month. I will like to talk about Colostrum. Colostrum is the first milk your breasts produce in the few days following birth. It is thick and golden-yellow in colour. Colostrum is very concentrated and full of vitamins and antibodies. All of this helps your baby grow and fight off infections. Colostrum is so special. This perfect first food contains essential nutritional components that really help prime your baby for a healthy life. For the first few days after birth, your body will produce only colostrum, later switching over to regular breast milk.
