Never regret being a good person to the wrong people. Your behaviour says everything about you, and their behaviour says enough about them. People are always out to prove something to other people. You don’t need to worry about impressing others. Prove things only to yourself. Being good is the best legacy you can leave behind. Be a good person, but don’t waste your time proving it.

Most people react to their respective feelings in the present; you are judged within the mode they currently are in so they forget the good experience they got from you; the best thing is for you to prevent the bad attitudes from robbing off your kindness to people including them too.
