Empathy in Action!

There she was in tears as she saw her hopes of snatching the Canada Open (Rogers Cup) title disappear into thin air.
Serena is a strong woman made of “steel” but today her body won’t just take it. She’s down with an injury and of course she knows it’s time she ends the game to prevent an aggravation of her condition. Although she’s ”broken”, she still took a bold and wise decision to back out.
After being informed of Serena’s condition, she stands up with all energy galvanized in love.

Bianca stirred with love, empathy and genuine concern for her colleague, she says, ‘Are you okay?…injuries, I have been through so many already and I know how they are…’.
She wrapped her hands around Serena in a warm embrace. Indeed I can imagine Serena went back feeling better instead of outright disappointment and pains. She didn’t lose completely; she won love and mutual respect.
This is the power of love, respect, empathy and concern for the next person even if we are in a contest. Contest will end but love and respect will remain forever! #womensupportingwomen #celebratingwomen ❤

This is how real champions do! Thank you Bianca for the great gesture. You have greater feat ahead of you.
Thank you too Serena for accepting her empathy. Surely, you will bounce back.

It takes a well articulating and futuristic planner to know when to withdraw from a contest or fight, even when there seems to be a possibility of wining but may come with a consequences beyond imagination on the spot.
There is always another game to play and another championship to win
