Ini Abimbola

I celebrate an amazing woman today. A woman who has inspired so many. Ini Abimbola is the Lead Consultant of ThistlePraxis Consulting Limited (TPC), a management consultancy, sustainability, strategy and business advisory firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. She also serves as Country & Regional Lead (Sub Saharan Africa) for The CSR Company, a global CSR Network of organisations spanning four continents- South East Asia, Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Ini Abimbola is a Lecturer/Member of Faculty, MBA Program on International Corporate Social Responsibility Management at the Federal Porsche FernFH- University of Applied Sciences, Austria. A 2008 Draper Hills Fellow on Democracy, Development & Rule of Law at Stanford University California and an alumnus of the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program, Ini also holds degrees in International Relations & Diplomacy and Management.

Prior to setting up ThistlePraxis Consulting Limited, Ini served as the Executive Secretary of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ); as Executive Director, Defence for Children International- Nigeria Section; as a Consultant with the Women, Gender and Development Directorate of the African Union, Addis Ababa as well as the African Centre for Gender & Development withing the UN Economic Commission for AFRICA (UNECA). Ini is a published author of 3 books. She is also the Founder, Thistle Group, an emerging group of enterprises in Gas, Logistics, Research, and Media.

She is truly a source of inspiration and a phenomenal woman!

  1. Ini Abimbola is a woman that I appreciate her achievements. She goes about her business without putting herself in controversial issues.
    Soft-spoking and intelligent words are what you get from being in her company. I advise young and business minded ladies to have her for a mentor.
