“Eefi ni iwa” is a yoruba adage which literally means “Behaviour is like Smoke”. Smoke cannot be covered up for too long before it’ll become visible by all or it bursts into flames.
Pretence is short-lived. Pretence is lieing to one self. Living to please others is pretence.
Be sincere with yourself and ignore the naysayers as long as you aren’t going against your conscience.

Pretence is a diservice to oneself. It is corrosive to the true essence of man. A life of pretence is devoid of the intriguing spices of life. It is full of lies and deceptions.
Most importantly, it’s like living in “bondage” since you’re not free to explore your real self.

Pretence is short- lived when person’s have never trained their respective brain’s on how to react to their mind/ heart dislikes. Pretence is only ok to be applied to safe a life on the spot so as to be professional in preparing the mind of that listener for the actual truth/ fact.
Don’t life a pretentious life, it’s as dangerous as taking one’s life but doing it slowly.
