The new year is here already!
Are you hoping to get off to the best possible start?
Here are some suggestions we believe will be extremely beneficial:
1. Make a List of Realistic New Year’s Resolutions
Do not simply make a list of things you are not allowed to do; instead, make a list of things you want to accomplish, such as going for a jog every morning. Make them SMART: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Timely.
2. Apply The 80/20 Rule to Important Aspects of Your Life.
The 80/20 rule, also known as the Pareto rule, states that 20% of efforts yield 80% of the results. Identify and devote most of your energy and time to the 20%(s) that contribute to the 80% results in your life, habits, relationships, health, and so on.
Spend the most time with those who make you the happiest.
3. Plan Your Finances
Create and adhere to a budget to help you plan your finances this year. It is simply not acceptable to leave it up to chance!
Set a budget for the amount of money you want to spend on things like entertainment, groceries, transportation, and eating out. This will help you stay within your bounds and keep you focused on your objectives.
4. Review Your Relationships.
Consider your objectives for relationships with people, both romantic and platonic. What do you hope to accomplish with the people in your life? What can you do this year to strengthen those bonds?
Be deliberate about it; list your goals, the names of people you want to get in touch with more, the people you need to let go of, etc. Get your calendar and add reminders for important events in their lives that you don’t want to forget, times you’d like to call them, times you’d like to plan a date or hang out, etc.
Bottom line: Be deliberate, realistic, and pragmatic. Avoid over-exertion or over-planning.
5. Clear Out Your Closets and Home
Get organized by decluttering your home, office, or workspace and devising a system that works for you.
Clearing the clutter is one of the most effective ways to boost productivity and overall well-being.
Rearrange the decor and get rid of anything that isn’t necessary.
Make room for some fresh air. Clean out all the hidden spaces and redecorate.
Look fresh, see fresh!
NB: Tailor each piece of advice given here to your unique situation.

Let go of the old, embrace the new.
